About
Welcome to my blog. First of all I’m a big fan of Japanese music, hence the purpose, which is to review Japanese music and news. My favorite artist is Utada Hikaru, who sang the song “Simple And Clean” and that’s what really got me hooked on Japanese music. The blog is named after a mixture of Utada’s two songs Stay Gold and Hikari, so Gold Hikari would mean Gold Light, yea it’s corny but I can’t change that, and I don’t feel like moving the site’s posts.
About Me: Not sure if I have to say this, but I’m a guy. Not sure if my writing sounds feminine, but some people have referred to me a she, so I’d like to get that cleared up asap. As for why my name is Die, it’s short for a name that I couldn’t spell. Have you ever seen Jackie Chan Adventures? I loved it as a kid, and I loved the name Dai Gui, who was the earth demon sorcerer. I didn’t know how to spell it, so I used the phonics method, and the shortened version of that is Die. I’m half Asian (oriental), and I LOVE it. I love the culture, and I love the music. First Japanese artist I listened to was Utada Hikaru, hence why she’s my favorite artist among many reasons. I attend a 4 year university, I won’t say where, but I’m double majoring in Computer Science and Computer Engineering, and it often makes me study for hours upon end. I try to review when I can, but sometimes I just don’t have the time. Just know that when school starts (Late August to Mid December, Mid January to Mid May) reviews will most likely be scarce, although I hope to change that. Anything else about me? Lots I suppose, I just can’t really remember anything at the moment. Enjoy the site!

Please support the artists by ordering from online sites or purchasing the music on itunes etc. And if I provide the links, please delete them within 24 hours, this’ll save you and me from trouble. Hello! About your question, a friend made the banner for me and he uses Photoshop. But when I make my own banners (like that BoA one), I normally use Paint Shop Pro.
