Needless to say, college life with 23 credits is stressful. I’ve been trying to review but it’s been tough, we’ll see how long this streak of sporadic reviews continue.
As it turns out, Missing You ~Time To Love~ is a language cover, the original was entitled TTL(Time to Love) and was Korean. The featured artists are members of Supernova, so the vocals should sound somewhat similar, the guys anyway. Anyway, moving on. This song is a fusion of genres. You have your sleek R&B beats, the piano chords for that ballad effect, some synth for just about anything, including the rap parts. So that being said, this song is pretty damn catchy, the catchiest song form Nami since her Gundam days IMO. It’s got an infectious chorus, and stellar hook. Nami’s vocals were great, even the rap parts, she’s got some skills. I just really loved the music, epic. And the U.F.S. Remix, it was longer, and very different from the original. It’s not nearly as epic; it was slower, more laid-back and softer than the original. Different to say the least.
As it turns out, this single was pretty good. I kinda wish it was original, but I still love it. My favorite part was probably the music and melody honestly. I heard this version, then heard the original and fell in love with it. I wish there was a little more variety with it, like a B-Side, but it’s still pretty good. If this is any hint as to what will be on her newest album, we’re in for a good treat.
