Before her hiatus ayaka has graced us with an amazing surefire ballad entitled Minna Sora no Shita. It features some great instrumentals from the piano, strings, percussion, and even a guitar at a few points. ayaka yet again demonstrates her amazing vocal talents in this song with her powerful vocals. And her vocals go great with the classical elements of the song. Overall it sounds very dramatic and almost ominous at times, yet it’s still beautiful and vibrant. I believe that this will become one of her signature ballads in no time.
More up-beat and more rock driven is Arigatou. Like I said it’s a lot more up-beat, and there are some jazz influences too, which might explain why it’s full of life and happiness. To some degree is almost sounds like country music, but I still think it’s a tad bit better. And then we have a live rendition of her previous single Koi Kogarete Mita Yume. It’s a simple rendition, yet because it’s ayaka and it’s live it’s a hell of a lot better. It’s simple yet just as beautiful and ayaka’s lovely vocals make the song.
Final Thoughts: I hope ayaka gets better, but I still want her to release some more stuff, especially if it’s half as good as this. I never find myself disappointed by ayaka and her amazing vocal talent, as well as her music. Anyway, I love her ballads, always have, always will so it’s no surprise that I love this one, especially with the epic music. Another great single from ayaka.
