I can honestly say that when I heard Kuu was releasing a triple A-Side I didn’t expect it to be a rock song, let alone a collaboration. Anyway It’s all Love! is really a blaring messy pathetic excuse for a rock song. The opening isn’t really all that clear and honestly it’s not all that good. The rock arrangement really makes me question if it’s for Kuu, it sounds more like misono personally. The vocals are a little hard to hear over the instrumentals, which makes it hard to enjoy the song. And seriously the chorus sounds a little choppy, not all that exciting besides being loud. They would’ve been better doing a pop duet or R&B collaboration, not rock.

The main, and only, reason why I would get this single is faraway. This track is sung by only Kuu and that’s the best thing about it. Well the best thing about it is that it’s a heartfelt ballad. The epic piano chords, the playful xylophone, and the mystic bells, let’s not forget the regal strings. And as always Kuu displays an excellent range of vocals. What she doesn’t display so well is her mastery of Engrish “so falaway.” I have to say that despite that the song is remarkable and actually catchy. And the melody is just splendid and beautiful. The synth riffs during the bridge were unexpected but really wonderful, and Kuu sounded a lot better too for some reason. The snaps and background vocals really seemingly strengthened Kuu’s own vocals making them even better. The arrangement was just astounding too.

Onto the song by misono. Honestly I’m not really a fan of misono, I just haven’t hear her, but Tenbin ~Tsuyogari na Watashi × Yowagari na Kimi~ has just turned me off to her. Her vocals sound nasally and it’s horrendous. There’s hardly any variety and the only instrumentals for the most part is the guitar. Maybe I just need to give it another listen, but honestly this is one of the worst songs I’ve ever heard. No variety, no good vocals, and no good music. There’s nothing remotely interesting about this song.

Overall Review: It’s all Love! was a collaboration flop! I had such high hopes for this single, but after hearing it I just want to forget it. The collaboration might not be all that, given it needs a lot of work. Better vocals, better arrangement, and less choppy vocals. I think I want to hear That Ain’t Cool again. Kuu’s faraway is the only highlight of this single, and makes it entirely. Without it, this single would be more worthless than it is. misono’s song was just horrific. Seriously I get why she’s not as popular now, just listen to her vocals. Maybe I just need to hear her sing a few better songs, or her day after tomorrow work. Such a disappointment and total flop, how it hit no. 1 on the charts is beyond my comprehension. The only reason why I’m not totally failing this is the because I’m nice and that exquisite ballad.
