Review:
Wait & See ~Risk~ this is one of Hikki’s oldest R&B songs, apparently with a little rock flavor. The beginning is with Hikki singing in some perfect English alongside the guitar. Then the first verse begins, it’s very quick and so catchy, and the R&B beats are amazing. And the little distortions give it some techno flare. The chorus features some powerful vocals, not to mention the guitar, and her infamous English. Hikki’s vocals were just great overall, the high notes were fantastic and the low notes were amaxing. It was an interesting combination, R&B beats, guitar riffs, and some minor techno additions. But Hikki pulled it off.

Well this song isn’t one of her best B-Sides really. Hayatochiri is a slow R&B song. Although the lyrics of this song are nice and sweet, that’s about it. There’s nothing really high about the song. It’s just an easy listen song, that moved too slow for my taste. The remix on Distance is so much better.

Fly Me To The Moon (In Other Words) is the original version of the 2007 remix on Beautiful World. The only difference is some of the background music, which I still can’t hear. Anyway Hikki gave this song a little R&B beat to it, and her vocals were amazing. That being said the song was a little dragged out, but her ad-libbing made it more tolerable. And the strings were so beautiful.

The final track is Wait & See ~Risk~ (Baton Girl Mix). The only main difference in this remix are the instrumentals, mostly the drums and constant beats. I personally loved the original version, but this version will do fine.

Overall Review: Wait & See ~Risk~ was an R&B goddess with true talent. This single featured some fantastic songs, some of the best in the era. The vocals for each song was almost overwhelming, it was so good. It really goes to show you just how talented Hikki is as a writer and as a singer. The English song was a great addition to this single along with the two R&B oriented songs. Another great R&B single for the Distance Era.
