From the title I’m sure everyone who’s a loyal reader can infer that it’s time for another break. Yes I know I’ve been extremely lazy but after a year of posting like crazy and school and exams you’re pretty much dead, which is what happened to me. So I know that it’s a bad time to leave and go on a break since I just posted two days in a row. But I have some good news. I’m hoping to review a few singles and maybe Bonnie’s ONE before I leave, and from there it’ll be posted every few days, mostly two days in between posts.
As for the reason, well I’m going to Costa Rica, again! It’s my second time and I’m going to have so much fun, hopefully. I’m leaving tomorrow, it’s 9 days and I won’t get back until June 24. I still plan to do my annual mega-review of BEST COUNTDOWN G which will include singles and albums from January 1, 2009-June 30, 2009. Check back every once in a while, some reviews might surprise you, or not.

Meh not much to say really. Yes I know the site’s been a bit inactive but i still post every three days or so. I still plan to post a review on Bonnie’s ONE, etc all the new artists and more. And since it’s June now BEST Countdown G will occur on July 1st hopefully, so get ready for that.
As for blog stats, well there were 7,076 views this month, as well as the most popular page is now Yura Yura. Blah Blah Blah, just get ready for some good reviews..eventually.

First of all let me take the time to apologize to everyone for being uber lazy and inactive. Things have been getting more hectic as school’s getting ready to end and I’ve been dealing with that, it should end soon. Anyway the reviews have been coming in slow and not many at that. But I plan to get some in eventually, like tomorrow hopefully. Bonnie’s ONE along with C Kay’s Color Change will be coming soon, within a week. MiChi’s KiSS KiSS xxx will be coming up soon too, followed by some new artists!
The new artists are going to be the J-Pop girl group BRIGHT, who are basically a group of talented singers, each with a different pitch give or take. Tiana Xiao is another artist who’s very promising. I actually liked some of her debut stuff so i figured why not start with her newest single Kanashii Uso. And the last is JYONGRI! She’s a pretty good artist too, does pop and R&B, really good. Banners will come up soon, i’m just too lazy.
Oh and maybe some hitomi later!
And for blog stats sake, up to 90k finally!

Welcome to another wonderful edition of blog stats, which I’m sure people are so thrilled to see. Anyway the month of April was actually fairly good. There were a total of 7,689 views, a little less than March’s but with one less day and sporadic posting it’s no surprise. The most popular post was Hearts Grow’s Yura Yura again, I can’t stress the power of Naruto LOL, too bad it’s on hiatus, come on already give us Shippuden!!! Ayu’s NEXT LEVEL wasn’t far behind though. Anyway the site has now had 84,796+ views, getting really close to that 100k. I’ll try to be more active during May, I mean all I have to do is pass two AP Tests, one on May 6, the other on May 8. Once that’s over things will return to normal.
Now onto the new artist. Stereopony will now be featured on GoldHikari! It’s getting late and I have to take the SAT Subject Tests tomorrow so I won’t say much, more will be added. Basically a girl rock band from Okinawa, really good music, great vocals, catchy, and YUI’s given them a song!!! So great ready!

Yeah due to a bombardment of spam to blog stat page for march 09 i’m moving this info to this page. Just to let you know this is just a filler post.
However at this time I plan to write some stuff down. First off I plan to post a review either tomorrow or later today. I plan to review Crystal Kay’s Color Change album as well as GND’s Seeds of dream, ayak’s new single, Yuna’s Ima demo Aitai yo if it comes out xD, and eventually Kanon Wakeshima’s debut album, oh and Ravex’s trax ablum, having a lot to say about that lol. So just get ready for all of that. Things won’t be as active as they were in the past but after may 8 that should change, that’s the last ap test i’m going to take till next year!
now the stats for march.
Well I’m sorry that I haven’t posted any reviews since March 26, but things happen. I do plan to post maybe two reviews tonight, depends on what I feel like. But this post is basically a stat post and some future events. First off it appears that March 2009 has been the best month for this site. There were an astonishing 8,012 views!!! That’s a 33% increase from February’s 6,017 views, feel free to correct me on the math. I’m also going to try starting today to go by a 5 star rating system. It’s a bit more general, but it’s also better than just rating albums via letter grades, more to come on the rating system. There have been over 77,074 views in total!!! 75k is pretty good, so I’m still deciding what to do to celebrate this mile stone, perhaps some new stuff. I also still plan to update the index, which needs it desperately.
April Showers is the title for many reasons: 1) AP testing is in May…FML. 2) Teachers cram everything in! 3) Students suffer from extensive quizzes. 4) Students have actually cried from what I’m about to go through. So as a result I might not be as active this month, I mean I really want those AP credits, more credits more money for college. And after May things should be back to normal etc, more reviews, although knowing how active I try to be things will remain normal.

I guess that from the title you can infer that it’s break time. And I know that I haven’t been all that active this week, but I did just do BoA’s album as well as add Hikki’s scans, so I hope that will suffice. Again I’m traveling and that means no computer, well enough time to post. But feel free to leave comments and I’ll respond when I can. But expect no reviews until Monday, after that they’ll resume. I plan to do Perfume’s new single, as well as Kuu’s. And Ayu’s album will be coming up too, which is where I got the title from, awesome intro. And I’ve recently heard 1 night magic feat. MONKEY MAJIK and it’s astounding. Another great song from ravex, perhaps I’ll review their album. Anyway enjoy all the reviews and the scans.
And in other news, this site has hit over 75k views!!! A big thanks to all my affiliates who refer a lot of people. And thanks to everyone that reads this blog! I might have to do something special for this event later.

It’s been a while so I thought it’d be good to post some Blog Stats. For February there were 6,017 views. The most visited page is still HEART STATION with 1,048 views. But for February the most viewed page was Yura Yura with 146 views, the power of Naruto. Come Back To Me was next with 121 views. In all there have been over 72,613+ views! That makes me really happy! Almost to the 75k mark and then 100k!!! A big thanks to all my affiliates, especially Lex. March has been going really good though as far as views. Today and yesterday this site has received 314 and 320 views, normally the average is normally 200 or so, so that’s really good, and this week’s view has been the highest since this site started last year. There were a grand total of 1,816 views this week! The highest time before that was the 38th week of the blog with 1,803 views. So I’m just really excited.
Anyway onto the future reviews. I still plan to review Kanon Wakeshima’s new album, maybe in a few weeks though. BoA is coming up soon, along with Hikki by Tuesday. Tomorrow I’ll have Genki Rockets’ album up. Ayu is next week, and maybe I’ll review Kuu’s collaboration album. I still plan to do some Crystal Kay as well as complete Bonni Pink’s album. I might do a special review of Namie’s BEST FICTION. And that also reminds me that her WILD / Dr. is up too. I hope you guys and girls are enjoying the reviews.

Exactly one year ago today, GoldHikari was started! This year has had its ups and downs, but I’m glad that I’ve survived and so has this site. It’s been a little hectic and the blog has gone through some changes. And this year the blog will hopefully get better, and the blog will go through some more changes. First of all, I will be added a review index, sorry Lex, this will make it easier to look for certain reviews, rather than just searching. I will also try to have a five star review system, that will come by the end of the month. I also plan to re-review some older material to make it up to par with all of the new reviews if possible.
And since this site was started one year ago, it has received 58,839 hits! The top post this year was HEART STATION with 997 views. The second most viewed post was Yura Yura with 519 views, mostly due to the recent airing of the ninth season of Naruto. And the third top post is BEST Countdown G with 510 views.
As promised the BEST ~Countdown~ H will commence on January 31st 2008 and it will be a super review of some of the hits and flops of 2008. There will be two halves to the review. The H section will include some reviews and comments about the second half of year’s music. The GH section will feature reviews and comments about the entire year of 2008. So I hope everyone will look forward to those reviews, and maybe I’ll even have a little surprise for everyone, we’ll see. Anyway, both sections will be similar to that of the BEST Countdown G, with some differences that I’m sure everyone will like.
This past year has been a blast, let’s make this one just as fun!
And before I go, there is a poll that I’d like everyone to vote on. This blog gets quite a few readers so if everyone could just vote once, that would make my day. And this will determine one part of the BEST ~Countdown~ H.

Happy Late New Year everyone! I hope last year was great and that this year will be even better for everyone. And with the new year comes some new changes to this site. It’s still a work in progess, but I will be now begin to review things on a 1-5 star rating, that’s pretty ssmple, more on that will come. I’m also thinking about changing the layout of this site, that will be later though. The old reviews will be re-reviewed but not posted, I’ll just make a post about the re-reviews. I still plan to finish reviewing everything from 2008 if I have enough time left. I might be adding a review index similar to BeyondtheSea just because it makes everything easier, but then again I don’t want to copy it…so that’s a maybe, comment on if I should or not. And finally, BEST Countdown H will commence on January 31st and it should be pretty good hopefully, expect a lot. And as for the entire year, this blog has had a total of 56,853 hits, which isn’t all that bad really, and the official one year mark has yet to come.

Hey everyone. I hope everyone is having / had a Merry Christmas, or Happy Holidays for those that don’t celebrate x-mas. Anyway, this post is just about some stuff that’s going to happy etc. First off, this will most likely be my last post of the 2008 year. I’d like to post until the 31st, but I’ll be away and that means no computer or posting, or reviewing. And I’d like to say that having started this blog since January, it’s received 55,440+ hits, a small thing but a big milestone for me. Reviews will continue when I return on the 1st or 2nd hopefully. Although even after that I’ll go on break again and won’t be back until the 4th. But I will post whenever I can. I’m currently working on LOVE LETTER, and when I return it will be posted. But in the meantime feel free to enjoy all of the other reviews I have done. And I recently found a nice site that has some great pictures of Ai and scans, and because of that I’ve added some to my reviews, which will be posted below. Kuu’s stay with me will be ready when I return also and it’ll have some great pictures with it, and I plan to do my BEST Countdown H at the end of January once everything has gotten situated. And I hope everyone has a happy holidays and a happy New Year!
