Review:
ayaka has done it again with another great song, this one titled Real voice. The song is pretty upbeat and with the constant drum beats the song continues to stay enjoyable. I loved her deep vocals and the great instrumentals. The piano keys at the beginning were pure genius and the guitar playing was fantastic. And I really loved the chorus, it was pretty catchy especially with ayaka’s great vocals. A few people have said that it’s average but for some reason I think it’s really good.
The next song is very light when compared to the previous song, Peace loving people. It’s more of a ballad and it’s mid-tempo. But I honestly don’t like it that much. It sounded very repetitive. I do like how she used the English and the vocals but the song itself wasn’t all that great. Maybe the live version will sound better.
Overall Review: Real voice was effervescent fun, well for the most part. I do agree that some parts of the title track were mediocre but the song overall was enjoyable. I wasn’t too sure about the B-Side, it wasn’t all that great but there are different opinions about it. But I do feel that the single was a little average. I didn’t really stick out at me. Not ayaka’s best but it’ll do. The next single is better in my opinion.
Final Grade: 86B-
[...] Real voice is another typical ayaka song, very guitar oriented. Some people have said that it’s pretty average but I like it, maybe I’m just odd. Oh well, it’s still good, pretty catchy and the strings were a great touch. [...]
